ShortKeys works in all programs except one.

Here are a few things to try.

 

  1. Open ShortKeys and click on Tools, Restore Keyboard Hooks. Type the shortkey activation.

  2.  Close ShortKeys by clicking File, Terminate ShortKeys. Locate the shortcut to start the program and right click on it. Select Run as Administrator and follow any UAC prompts to finish loading the program.

  3.  Check your security software to make sure it allows ShortKeys to function properly.

  4.  If failing in a browser, try disabling any browser add-ons one by one. Start with the ones you are not familiar with. Test ShortKeys after each add-on is disabled to determine which is causing a problem.
