ShortKeys Menu Items

 

ShortKeys Window > Shortkeys

 
Add Shortkey
Open the Modify Keys window to create a new shortkey and replacement text through one of the following options.
 

Click on Shortkeys > Add Shortkey from the menu.

Right click on the list of shortkeys and select the Add Shortkey option.

Click on the Add Shortkey icon in the toolbar. 



Edit Shortkey
Open the Modify Keys window to edit an existing shortkey.
 

Highlight the shortkey and select Shortkeys > Edit Shortkey from the menu.

Double click on the shortkey from the list in the ShortKeys window.

Right click on the shortkey and select Edit Shortkey from the menu.

Highlight the shortkey and click on the Edit Shortkey icon in the toolbar.

 

 
Delete Shortkey
Delete an existing shortkey by one of several methods. A prompt appears to verify that the delete should occur. Or highlight several shortkeys at the same time for a bulk delete.
 

Highlight the shortkey and select Shortkeys > Delete Shortkey from the menu.

Highlight the shortkey and press the Delete key on the keyboard.

Right click on the shortkey and select Delete ShortKey from the menu.


 
Enable (Disable) Shortkey
Toggle between enabling and disabling an existing shortkey.  If a shortkey is disabled, it will not execute the replacement text when typed.

 

Highlight the shortkey and select Shortkeys > Disable Shortkey from the menu.

Right click on the shortkey and select Disable Shortkey from the menu.

Highlight the shortkey and click on the Disable (Enable) icon in the toolbar.


 


 

Find
To find a specific shortkey from a long list, use the Find option to locate text found in either the shortkey name or in the replacement text.
 

Click on Shortkeys > Find to activate the Find window.

Type in the text to search for and click the Find Next button.

The search scans the shortkey name and replacement text items looking for a match.
 

The first item found is highlighted. Press Find Next to continue searching for the desired result. If no match is found, a message displays indicating no match was found.
 
Select Match case to conduct a case sensitive search. Any words spelled the same but with a different upper or lowercase combination are ignored.


 

 
ShortKeys Window> Shortkeys > Find

 


Find Next
Click on Shortkeys > Find Next or press the F3 key to look for the next item that matches the search criteria as discussed above.
 

Search through the list until a match is found.

If no matches are found, a message indicates that the entire list has been searched and no match found.
