ShortKeys 3 will read macro files created by previous versions of ShortKeys but the file will be upgraded.

ShortKeys 3 should not be installed in the same folder as previous versions of ShortKeys. By
default, ShortKeys 3 is installed in a different folder than previous versions.

ShortKeys 3 will read macro files created by previous version of ShortKeys. However, when the file is opened by ShortKeys 3, it
will be converted to the ShortKeys 3 format. Once converted, previous versions will no longer be able to open and read the file.
Note: We recommend that you copy (back up) your macro file(s) before
opening them in ShortKeys 3.
- ShortKeys 2 licenses will not work for ShortKeys 3. If you own a ShortKeys 2 license you must upgrade it before you can use
